Hello!

I’m Josephine Corcoran, a writer based in west Wiltshire. This free-to-read newsletter is a place where I share notes and ideas about my creative life. It’s also where I share news and information about Trowbridge Stanza, a monthly poetry group, and The Make Space in Bradford-on-Avon where I run creative writing workshops.

My poetry pamphlets and collections are Love and Stones (Live Canon, 2023); One Deliberate Red Dress Time I Shone (Coast-to-Coast-to Coast, 2023); What Are You After? (Nine Arches Press, 2018); The Misplaced House (tall-lighthouse, 2014). My radio play The Songs that Houses Sing – The House in Tamworth Park was broadcast on BBC Radio 4 and Radio 4Extra. My stage play Jocasta was produced at The Chelsea Theatre, London. My short story Algebra, winner of the Ian St James Award in 1996, was broadcast on BBC Radio 4 and Radio 4Extra.
