A few January events that you might like to know about.
Poetry Book Exchange with members of Trowbridge Stanza at Drawing Projects UK - Saturday, 6 January, 2-4pm
Join Josephine Corcoran and members of Trowbridge Stanza for a poetry book exchange at Drawing Projects UK on Saturday 6 January 2024.
Please bring any pre-loved (or, perhaps, not loved enough) poetry books (or poetry pamphlets/journals/magazines) and exchange them for a book or two from someone else’s stash.
For this meeting, you are also invited to bring along a workshop exercise or writing prompt, as well as a pen and notebook, for some impromptu poetry writing.

Poetry Making with Josephine Corcoran at The Make Space, Bradford-on-Avon - Saturday, 27 January, 2-4.30pm
There are four places remaining on the Saturday afternoon poetry workshop I’m teaching at The Make Space, Tithebarn Workshops, Bradford-on-Avon. In a small group (maximum eight participants) we’ll read and talk about a wide selection of contemporary poetry, respond to a series of guided writing exercises and prompts, and write and share early drafts of new poems.
