Deborah Harvey lives in Bristol. She is co-director of The Leaping Word, a poetry consultancy providing creative and editorial advice for writers, and qualified counselling support for artists exploring the personal in their work. Her poems have been widely published and broadcast on Radio 4’s Poetry Please.
Deborah runs two poetry groups and Bristol’s longest-standing open mic, Silver Street Poetry. With her fellow IsamBards, a poetry collective, she conducts poetry walks around her native city. Her sixth poetry collection, Love the Albatross, which explores the subject of estrangement, was published by Indigo Dreams in August.
Saili Katebe is a writer, performer and workshop facilitator. Born in Zambia and now based in the Southwest of England, his work celebrates language and the power of story. He performs in a wide range of spaces and has worked with movement artists, musicians, filmmakers and theatre makers. His debut poetry pamphlet, Katabasis, was published by Frosted Fire Press. His work has been featured on BBC Arts and BBC Radio Bristol. From commissions to collaboration, he looks for opportunities to explore and express the nuances of moving through the world.
